In 2008 Fordahl Frequency Control Products, founded in 1981 and FOQ Piezo Technik founded in 1980 merged to create The Fordahl-FOQ Group. The new Group continued its world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Frequency Control products using the very latest techniques. Products include crystals, crystal oscillators, TCXO’s, VC-TCXO’s, VCXO’s and OCXO’s used in telecommunications, data communications, timing, navigation, military, aerospace and instrumentation systems. The availability of skilled labor has allowed Fordahl, which is situated in the heartland of the time and frequency region of central Europe, to specialize in miniature ultra stable oscillators.

The emphasis in research and design continue to be driven by the need to reduce size and power requirements and at the same time increase performance levels at lower cost. The Fordahl-FOQ Group has actively worked to become a true global player focusing on a wide range of products and services. Proximity to customers and complete traceability when projects move across international boundaries are essential ingredients for a continued growth in our industry.

Germany – Located in Bad Rappenau.  The center of the German Piezo valley is focused on OCXO’s, VCXO’s,

and crystal production.

Fordahl-FOQ France SA, located near Lyon. Is responsible for our sales to the French market as well as for the sales of lower-end devices such as clock oscillators, simple crystals, etc… throughout Europe.

Fordahl-FOQ (UK), located in Southampton, England is the sales and logistics centre for the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as Northern Europe.

Fordahl-FOQ Fordahl Deutschland focuses on better serving and supporting the local market as well as Eastern Europe.  Germany has become the cornerstone of several global telecommunication companies and CEM’s.

Fordahl-FOQ USA, Inc. located near Atlanta.  This office is the main coordination center for our North American operations.  It is responsible for leading a team of independent representatives that provide technical and logistic support across the continent. Managing the flow of inter-continental opportunities makes this center instrumental for our future.

Fordahl-FOQ (China) located in Shenzhen.  Is the sales and logistics center for China as well as for the ASEAN region.
